2. Eligibility

Open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia (excluding [any excluded states]) who are 18 years of age or older (or the age of majority in their state of residence) at the time of entry.

Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor, its parent, subsidiaries, and affiliates, and the immediate family and household members of each, are not eligible to enter or win. Void in [excluded jurisdictions] and where prohibited by law.

3. Sweepstakes Period

4. How to Enter

Free Alternate Method of Entry (AMOE): If any entry path requires an action such as a purchase, download, or referral, a free alternate method of equal or lesser effort is always available. To enter without it, mail a 3x5 card with your full name, address, phone number, email, and the giveaway name to [AMOE mailing address], postmarked within the Entry Period. Limit one AMOE entry per outer envelope.

5. Prizes

6. Winner Selection & Odds

Winner(s) are selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period, on or about [drawing date], conducted by Sponsor or its designated representative, whose decisions are final. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

7. Winner Notification

The potential winner will be notified by [phone/email] within [X] days of the drawing, and may be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, and (where legal) a Publicity Release within [X] days. Failure to respond, or an undeliverable notification, may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.

No fee or payment is ever required to claim a prize. Sponsor will never ask a winner to pay taxes, shipping, or processing fees to receive a prize.

8. Taxes

Winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes on the prize. Sponsor will issue an IRS Form 1099 where required by law.

9. General Conditions

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant found tampering with the entry process or violating these Official Rules, and to cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes if fraud, technical failure, or any factor beyond Sponsor's control impairs its integrity.

10. Release & Limitation of Liability

By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any liability related to participation in the Sweepstakes or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.

11. Disputes

Entrants agree that any disputes arising from this Sweepstakes will be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and governed by the laws of [State of Sponsor], without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
